Turkish citizens in the US gathered in front of the Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C., to counter an Armenian genocide commemoration march. Participants displayed photos of Turks killed in Armenian attacks and chanted “No to the genocide lie.”
The protest, organized by the Turkish-American National Steering Committee (TASC), saw broad participation from Turkish Americans across the country. TASC President Seyit Şahin stated, “We are here to defend historical truths and support Türkiye-Armenia normalization.” Washington police enforced strict security, preventing unrest.
