Upon the alerts of a search and rescue dog, Mexican and Turkish teams rescued an elderly couple, Seval Genco, 60 years old, and Samet Genco, 62 years old, from a collapsed apartment in Türkiye’s Hatay province 160 hours after the severe earthquake. The son of the Genco couple, waited for his parents to be removed from the rubble.
Search and rescue efforts continue on the 8th day.
