Doctors and medical faculty students gathered in Türkiye’s Tekirdağ province to protest Israel’s deadly attacks on the Gaza Strip. While students carried photographs of innocent Gazans, some doctors wore blood-painted lab coats.
“Bombs have been falling on Gaza every minute of every day for 7 months. Gazans are struggling with death, hunger and disease. Hospitals and health centers in Gaza have turned into mass graves. Hospitals are targeted in violation of human rights and international law. Healthcare workers in hospitals are fighting an epic struggle to provide treatment under conditions without medication or electricity. Healthcare workers and patients are not targets. These attacks are clearly a war crime,” said Sümeyye Özdemir, a medical faculty student.
