E-Jest, the Turkish electric public minibus that entered the European and North American markets, had its launch in Tokyo yesterday and was tested on the streets today. The 22-seated bus, produced by company ‘Karsan’, was very much liked by the test driver Igaraji Yuji, a bus driver with 30 years of experience.
“The vehicle is very comfortable to drive. The vehicle brakes automatically when you take your foot off the gas. It makes it so comfortable to drive,” said Igaraji Yuji.
Tokyo is aiming to switch to fully electric vehicles until 2030 to protect the environment.
