Turkish Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu attended the Global Coalition Against DAESH Ministerial Meeting

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu attended the Global Coalition Against DAESH Ministerial Meeting held in Marrakech, Morocco. At the meeting, Turkey’s determined struggle against all terrorist organizations including DAESH was explained and it was once again emphasized that the fight against DAESH through terrorist organizations such as the PKK/YPG wouldn’t be successful. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Çavuşoğlu met with Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares within the framework of his bilateral contacts in Morocco. During the meeting, the preparations for the NATO Madrid Summit, bilateral relations and the latest situation in Ukraine were discussed. Çavuşoğlu also met with Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt. During their meeting, Çavuşoğlu and Huitfeldt exchanged views on regional developments, including Palestine, Syria and Ukraine.
