Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu meets with Uzbek President

Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in capital Tashkent on Tuesday. Cavusoglu and Mirziyoyev discussed bilateral ties, regional and international issues. Cavusoglu, made a following statement to the Uzbek press after the meeting. “Our bilateral relations have reached the level in 4 years that no one would believe. We have covered a lot of distance under the leadership and brotherhood of Mirziyoyev and our president Erdogan. We have a great potential, and our relations can be much better. This was the purpose of our visit” he said.

Turkish Foreign Minister Cavusoglu, also met with Sardor Umurzakov, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.
