A Turkish Gendarmerie traffic team noticed a turtle standing in the middle of a motorway while on a patrol duty at the Ahlat district in Bitlis city, Turkey. Showing sensitivity, Gendarmerie personnel extended a helping hand to the turtle they found and bring it to the side of the road. The exemplary behavior of the Gendarmerie personnel, who saved the turtle on the road from being crushed, was appreciated by the drivers on the road.
