Turkish Hospital In Albania Opens

Turkish hospital has opened in Albania with the participation of Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca as well as President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who attended the ceremony online.

The construction of the hospital in Fier city was promised by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the visit of Albania Prime Minister Edi Rama to Turkey in January.

The hospital has been constructed in a short period of 68 days and has cost around 70 million euros. The hospital has 6 operating rooms, 20 intensive care unit (ICU) and 130 beds. When the hospital operate in full capacity a total of 387 healthcare personnels, who are 56 Turkish and 331 Albanian will work.
