Muhammed Çolak, a Turkish citizen from Gaziantep, was kidnapped in Sarajevo during a trip and held for ransom by an unidentified group, reportedly linked to an Afghan gang. The kidnappers forced Çolak to cross mountains and reach the Croatian border, where they demanded a ransom from his family. Following six days of captivity, during which he endured violence, Çolak was eventually freed through efforts by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He safely arrived in Istanbul today, landing at Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 2:00 PM. Çolak expressed gratitude to the Turkish authorities for securing his release and ensuring his safe return.
