Turkish Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu arrived in Damascus for a two-day visit and met with Syrian Transport Minister Yarub Bedir. Both sides emphasized the importance of cooperation in transport, trade, and regional peace.
Uraloğlu said, “If we can’t reach each other, we can’t do anything,” highlighting plans to improve road, rail, air, and maritime links. Bedir welcomed Uraloğlu as being in his “second country,” expressing hope for restoring Turkey-Syria ties through transportation and economic cooperation.
