Turkish Navy Concludes Drills in the Mediterranean

The Turkish Navy has commenced the final live-firing phase of its extensive Blue Homeland-2026 exercise in the open waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Spanning across the Black Sea, Aegean Sea, and Eastern Mediterranean, the week-long drills aim to elevate the operational readiness and decision-making capabilities of participating units in multi-threat environments. Observed by Chief of General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu, the maneuvers also rigorously test the effectiveness of naval command centers and inter-agency coordination. This massive military exercise concludes today following a series of comprehensive tests designed to strengthen Türkiye’s maritime defense strategies.
