The Turkish Navy has deployed its advanced rescue ship, the TCG Işın, to search for 20 people missing after a passenger ferry sank off the coast of Northern Cyprus. Built entirely with domestic resources and commissioned in 2017, the 68-meter TCG Işın brings critical deep-sea scanning and underwater diving capabilities to the urgent rescue operation.
