Turkish officials feed stray animals in Nevşehir

Turkish MP Mustafa Açıkgöz left food for stray animals near Uçhisar Town, together with Kamil Duru, Secretary General of the Special Provincial Administration, Gürbüz Dinç, Chairman of the Provincial General Assembly, and Nevşehir Representative of Animal Rights Sevinç Dörtkol. The cat, which climbed a tree and was trapped in the field because it was afraid of dogs, was also rescued. In his statement, Açıkgöz said, “We left food with our special provincial administration so that they would not starve in these harsh winter conditions. We need to carry this sensitivity. Let’s not forget that they each have a life and that they have a difficult winter conditions. We fed our dogs. We did a truly sacred job. We encourage all our citizens to take care of stray animals.”

Animal Rights volunteer Sevinç Dörtkol also said, “I am trying to help voluntarily in these winter conditions. I do this one act every day. I invite all our citizens of Nevşehir to be sensitive to the animals in the field and in the center in this winter conditions. They also have life like us. Please support them. We are waiting for your help.”
