Among the 85,000 Turkish pilgrims this year, 98-year-old Ayşe Kızıldağ from Trabzon stands out as the oldest, fulfilling her lifelong dream of Hajj. Ayşe, accompanied by her 70-year-old son and daughter-in-law, made the pilgrimage in a wheelchair. In contrast, the youngest pilgrim was 3-month-old Baybars, who traveled with his family from Bursa. Despite the challenges, Baybars’ parents, Ahmet and Emine Aydınlı Demir, emphasized the spiritual importance of bringing their baby to the holy land, drawing inspiration from Prophet Ishmael.
