The Turkish Red Crescent has begun distributing sacrificial meat to families in need in Lahore, Pakistan, as part of its Eid al-Adha relief operations. The initiative targets the densely populated Punjab province, where the holiday’s spirit of social solidarity provides crucial support to vulnerable communities. Joining the distribution efforts, Türkiye’s Consul General Mehmet Eymen Şimşek praised the deep historical and fraternal ties uniting the two nations. He emphasized that the Red Crescent continues to strengthen this enduring bond through both seasonal holiday aid and ongoing educational and developmental projects across the region.
