The Turkish Red Crescent has distributed essential food packages to 500 vulnerable families in Kirkuk as part of an ongoing regional relief campaign. Working alongside the Iraqi Red Crescent, the organization provided parcels containing basic staples like flour, rice, and oil designed to sustain a household for an entire month. The humanitarian effort will soon expand to the Iraqi capital to reach more citizens facing food insecurity. Outlining the next phase of the mission, Iraq Delegation Head Çetin Beyatlı stated, “Tomorrow, God willing, we will distribute 500 food packages in Baghdad. We plan to distribute a total of 1,000 food packages this month.”
