Turkish Red Crescent Distributes Eid Aid in Pakistan

The Turkish Red Crescent has launched its annual Eid al-Adha sacrifice program in Lahore, Pakistan, providing vital food assistance to vulnerable communities. Aid workers slaughtered 200 cattle under strict hygienic standards, preparing five-kilogram packages of fresh meat for distribution across five regions, including Islamabad. Over the course of the holiday, this large-scale humanitarian effort will deliver much-needed food supplies to approximately 4,700 families. Delegation officials emphasized the organization’s enduring commitment to the nation, noting that their active relief work in Pakistan has been ongoing since the devastating 2005 Kashmir earthquake.
