Turkish Red Crescent Offered food to stranded drivers

Heavy snowfall coming down during the evening hours in Turkey’s city of Sivas, affected the life negatively. Due to heavy snowfall and blizzard, disruptions occurred in transportation at the İmranlı district exit of the Sivas-Erzincan highway. For the safety of life and property of drivers, police officers didn’t allow the pass of high-tonnage vehicles and vehicles without chains and snow tires in the region. Vehicles that weren’t allowed to enter the traffic were kept in safe zones. Meanwhile, Turkish Red Crescent teams were lend a helping hand to the drivers. Red Crescent teams offered food and drinks to the waiting drivers in cold and snowy weather.
