Turkish Students Build ‘Jerusalem Corner’ with 80,000 Stones

Students at Ankara Demetevler Girls Anatolian Imam Hatip High School created an 8 m² “Jerusalem Corner” using 1-centimeter stones to show solidarity with Palestine. Led by teacher Hacer Öztürk, the project carries the message: “If everyone puts a stone, the Al-Aqsa Mosque will be saved.”

Öztürk said the initiative was inspired by recent attacks on Gaza and aimed to make a lasting impact. Students also organize charity events and awareness activities to support Palestine.
