Turkish athlete Defne Kurt became world champion in the women’s 100m backstroke S10 with a time of 1:06.95 at the World Para Swimming Championships in Singapore.
This marks her fifth gold medal of the tournament, following victories in the 50m freestyle, 100m butterfly, 200m individual medley, and 100m freestyle.
