Turkish Toy Collector Photographs His Collection in 20 Countries

Ulaş Şentürk, a Turkish man who did not have the opportunity to play outside with his peers due to an allergic disease he had in his childhood, brought together more than a thousand toys and made a valuable collection in his house in Istanbul.Becoming a professional photographer later in his life, Şentürk incorporated his 27-year hobby into his work and photographed his toys in 20 different countries and 65 cities.

“I started collecting toys professionally in 1996. I currently have 1,200 pieces. These toys, which were once my collection, have now become my photography equipment. Those who see my collection feel like they are visiting a small museum. Everyone who sees the toys here sees a piece of their own childhood,” said Ulaş Şentürk.
