Turkish ZAHA completed its mine and ballistic tests

Developed by Turkish FNSS Defence Systems, Armored Amphibious Assault Vehicle (ZAHA) getting ready to carry out tasks that will be given to it with its capabilities of carrying the amphibious units to coastlines in bad sea conditions, supporting operations with its fire power, and transporting the units inland safely with its high survivability. Being developed to deal with harsh conditions in combat zones, ZAHA keep carrying on its qualification activities successfully.

President of Defence Industry Prof. Dr. İsmail Demir released a statement about ZAHA on his social media account and announced that ZAHA completed its mine and ballistic tests. “ZAHA, which spread fear to enemy, give confidence to friends, is getting ready to carry out tasks that will be given to it. It completed its mine and ballistic tests. It’s continuing its reliability and maintainability tests with land and sea drives,” Demir said.

Meanwhile,  capabilities of ZAHA are reaching speeds up to 70 km/h on land thanks to its fully tracked driving mechanism, achieve a maximum speed of 7 km in water with its rear mounted 2 jets, high survivability with its armor structure, outstanding fire power with its remotely operated weapon system, and self-correct in case of turnover in harsh sea conditions. Also having certain amounts of minefield breaching system, ZAHA will carry personals to combat zones safely.
