Türkiye and Canada Strengthen Energy and Mining Ties

Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced a strategic push for mining and nuclear cooperation with Canada during the PDAC 2026 Congress. Highlighting a $20 billion energy efficiency plan, Bayraktar invited Canadian firms to Türkiye while signaling that Turkish state companies like Eti Maden and Turkish Petroleum may invest in Canada.
