Türkiye participated in Expo Doha 2023 in Qatar with its Turkish pavilion. The pavilion’s inauguration was conducted by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı.
The overarching theme of EXPO Doha, which hosted 88 countries and numerous international organizations specializing in agriculture and horticulture, was designated as ‘Better Desert, Better Environment.’ Türkiye’s pavilion, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, covered an extensive area of 1,024 square meters, making it the largest residential area at EXPO. The Turkish pavilion’s opening ceremony featured captivating performances by the Mehter team and a Turkish folk dance troupe.
