Türkiye Boosts Beekeeping in North Macedonia

The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA) provided 300 beehives and work materials to 30 beekeeping families in various municipalities of North Macedonia under the ‘Beekeeping Development Project.’ The equipment was distributed during a ceremony in Negotin Kuruyer, attended by TIKA Skopje Coordinator Mehmet Bayrak and local farmers. Beneficiary Isuf Jakupi expressed gratitude for the support, which included beehives and materials to aid his new beekeeping efforts. TIKA has been active in North Macedonia since 2005, focusing on agricultural projects to enhance local economies. The project also promotes cooperation among different ethnic groups.
