Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said the international community must pressure Israel to allow sufficient food and shelter into Gaza, calling current aid levels inadequate. Speaking to Portugal’s RTP, Fidan said, “We cannot allow a people to starve, die, and freeze to death,” stressing the need for humanitarian access during winter. He also said Türkiye and the European Union could build historic cooperation if ties deepen, citing Türkiye’s strategic position and military capacity.
