Türkiye Distributes 15,000 Blankets to Displaced Families in Gaza

The Turkish Religious Affairs Foundation has distributed 15,000 blankets to displaced Palestinian families in the Gaza Strip as winter brings colder temperatures and worsening living conditions. Thousands of families forced from their homes by Israeli attacks are sheltering in damaged tents, often without adequate clothing, heating or protection from rain. The foundation’s Gaza representative, Omar Saad, said further aid projects would provide tents, tarpaulins, clothing and other essential winter supplies. He added that the foundation had continued its humanitarian work throughout the war, distributing hot meals, drinking water and food parcels with support from the Turkish government and public. Saad also expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s continued solidarity with Palestinians.
