Türkiye Festival Held in Tokyo

Yunus Emre Institute organized a Türkiye Festival in Tokyo within the framework of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Türkiye and Japan, introducing Turkish cuisine, traditional Turkish dances, and various traditional items to Tokyo residents who are interested in the culture.

“The dances and music were a lot of fun. It was also nice to try delicious Turkish food,” said Asami Sano, a participant.

“I came to the festival and tried Turkish ice cream. It was great fun,” said Nana Sato.

“When I heard that today’s festival was being held, I came to eat. I ate fish, bread, and meatballs,” said Rena Ogawa, a Turkish learner.
