Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Majid al-Ansari announced that Türkiye will take part in a mediation meeting for Gaza today, as part of US President Donald Trump’s peace initiative. He said Hamas had received the plan and promised to review it “responsibly.”
Al-Ansari noted that Qatar remains committed to supporting reconstruction and humanitarian aid for Gaza, stressing cooperation with international partners. On Israel’s apology for the recent attack in Doha, he said Qatar’s priority is ensuring such incidents “never happen again.”
