At TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland, Türkiye’s Machinery and Chemical Industry Inc. (MKE) unveiled the PIRANA unmanned kamikaze vessel and the DENİZHAN 76/62 mm naval gun, both set to be integrated into MILGEM ships, including the TCG Akhisar.
The PIRANA, capable of carrying 65 kg of explosives with a top speed of 50 knots, was recently tested with the TCG Anadolu and Bayraktar TB3, successfully hitting distant targets. The DENİZHAN naval gun, firing 80 rounds per minute with a 16 km range, is Türkiye’s first domestically produced naval gun and has already entered service and export markets.
