Türkiye, Sweden, Finland sign memorandum

A memorandum was signed following a four-way meeting in Madrid, Spain, with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö, Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, and NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. Turkey will allow the two Nordic countries to become NATO members on conditions stated in memorandum.

It was agreed in the Joint Memorandum that Finland and Sweden will not support the organization defined as PYD/YPG and FETO in Turkey.

In addition, Sweden and Finland have openly confirmed that they will not impose an arms embargo against Turkey.
