Türkiye’s Cappadocia attracts over 430,000 travelers in April

The number of visitors has skyrocketed in Türkiye’s Cappadocia, which was listed in UNESCO World Cultural Heritage List thanks to its natural, historical and cultural riches such as fairy chimneys, underground cities, interesting rock formations, and open-air museums. Nevşehir Governor’s Office said that 429 thousand 142 domestic and foreign tourists visited the Cappadocia region in April.

“It’s a beautiful, idyllic place. People fall in love here. We observe our past, our present, all our spiritual values, concreteness and abstractness, all at once,” said Hakan Candar, a visitor.
