Türkiye’s Erdoğan Joins G20 Summit in Brazil

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the G20 Leaders Summit in Rio de Janeiro, welcomed by Brazilian President Lula Da Silva at the Museum of Modern Art. Erdoğan, accompanied by First Lady Emine Erdoğan, is expected to participate in summit sessions and hold bilateral meetings.

Discussions will focus on global issues, including Israel’s actions in Palestine and Lebanon, as well as strengthening Turkey’s bilateral ties.

The summit, themed “Building a Just World and a Sustainable Planet”, features sessions on social inclusion, governance reform, and sustainable development, with leaders from 19 nations, the African Union, and the European Union in attendance.
