Türkiye’s Hidden Gem for Adventure Tourism: Koru Plateau

A team in Kastamonu, Türkiye, led by Kastamonu University and Taşköprü Municipality, is creating an adventure route. They initially focused on the Araba district’s 33 plateaus and later expanded to Taşköprü. During their exploration of the Taşköprü district, they visited the beautiful Koru Plateau, where they unfurled the Turkish flag at the summit of Koru Rock, offering stunning views of the Black Sea and the region’s natural beauty. The team is determined to preserve the area and improve infrastructure for visitors, with plans for activities like hiking, camping, auto safari, and more. Koru Plateau has the potential to become a top destination for plateau tourism.
