Türkiye’s first unmanned combat aircraft, the Bayraktar Kızılelma, has successfully completed its first test firing using a supersonic air-to-ground missile. Armed with two Roketsan-developed JET-230 missiles, the production-model aircraft struck a maritime target with pinpoint accuracy from a distance of over 120 kilometers. Baykar Chairman Selçuk Bayraktar, who directed the operation, commended the test team and proudly declared that “another milestone has been completed.” Building upon prior successful tests with various guided weapons, this latest achievement significantly accelerates the integration of national munitions and enhances the drone’s operational effectiveness.
