Türkiye’s Minister of Environment and COP31 Chair, Murat Kurum, met with King Frederik X in Copenhagen to discuss pressing global environmental challenges. The royal reception, held during the international Climate Ministers Meeting, focused heavily on sustainable urban planning and preparations for the upcoming COP31 summit in Türkiye. Top international climate figures joined the high-level talks, including ministers from Denmark and Australia, alongside UN and COP30 representatives. To further strengthen global environmental cooperation, Kurum also held a series of strategic bilateral meetings with key European and United Nations climate officials.
