Türkiye’s Van Landmarks Glow with New Lighting

Van Castle, Hoşab Castle, and Akdamar Island in eastern Türkiye have been illuminated, enhancing their appeal to visitors. Van Castle, a UNESCO-listed site, now stands out against the cityscape, while restoration efforts continue in the Old City.

Hoşab Castle, perched on cliffs along the Van-Hakkari highway, has been restored and now glows at night, drawing attention from afar. Meanwhile, Akdamar Island, home to the 10th-century Church of the Holy Cross, has been equipped with solar-powered lighting, making its night view even more captivating.
