Two Dead in New York Airport Collision

An Air Canada Express jet collided with a ground service vehicle while landing at LaGuardia Airport in NYC, resulting in the deaths of the pilot and co-pilot. Two other individuals were injured in the late-night crash.

The incident occurred at 11:37 p.m. local time. According to U.S. media, the aircraft was carrying 76 passengers and four crew members when the collision took place.

Following the accident, the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) halted all operations at LaGuardia, forcing incoming flights to divert to alternate airports or return to their departure points.
