At least 2 people were injured and a total of 1.2 million evacuated their homes when Super Typhoon Man-yi made landfall near Catanduanes Island in the Bicol region of the Philippines, disrupting all forms of transportation.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration announced that Typhoon Man-yi, which is causing winds of up to 185 kilometers per hour, will gradually weaken as of tonight.
