Two killed after Flooding hits Azerbaijan

Heavy rains in western Azerbaijan caused the Ganja River to overflow, leading to devastating floods in Goygol province. Two people were killed in the village of Topalhasanlı, and three injured individuals were rescued. Search and rescue teams recovered the bodies of the victims.

The flood resulted in significant damage to infrastructure, including highways, gas lines, electricity, and telecommunications. Efforts are underway to evacuate water and restore the affected areas.
