Flooding occurred in Rajasthan state of India due to heavy rains that continued for 2 days. Two people lost their lives due to the flood in the state, 5 others were injured after collapse after roof of their house collapsed. Rivers and dams in the state overflowed, and many villages were flooded.
In the city of Kota, Rajasthan, 3,500 people were evacuated to safe areas due to flooding, while schools were used as shelters. The Indian Air Force announced that the efforts to rescue the people trapped in the flood with helicopters continue.
