Two patients died and 34 others were evacuated after a fire broke out in a Covid-19 hospital in Astrakhan, Russia. The fire erupted in the 15-square-meter intensive care unit of the hospital. The victims were reported to be a 43-year-old Larisa Ashkova and 70-year-old Valentia Provalenko. The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, and an investigation has been launched into the incident.

One person died in another fire that broke out in a 2-storey residential building in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported, and 7 people, including 3 children, were rescued. The injrued were taken to hospitals for necessary treatment.
