Two More People Killed in Israeli Attacks on Lebanon

The Lebanese Health Ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center reported yesterday that two more people were killed when Israeli warplanes bombed Jiyeh, 20 km from the capital Beirut. Eighteen more were injured, and that search and rescue efforts were ongoing to remove debris, added the ministry.

Hezbollah reported that at least 25 Israeli soldiers had been killed since Israel launched a ground operation in southern Lebanon earlier this week. Meanwhile, the Israeli army has confirmed that 9 of its soldiers have been killed so far and claimed that 250 Hezbollah fighters have been killed.
