Two Seasons Coexist in Türkiye’s Yüksekova

In the Yüksekova district of southeastern Türkiye, nature is currently putting on a spectacular display of two contrasting seasons simultaneously. While the towering 4,116-meter peaks of Mount Cilo remain firmly blanketed in harsh winter snow, the sprawling plains below have burst into vibrant summer blooms. This striking visual contrast between the freezing highlands and the lush, colorful valleys has become a major draw for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. Local resident Esad Tek praised the rare landscape, noting that travelers do not need to cross the globe to witness such world-class, breathtaking scenery. The remarkable panorama continues to highlight the unique, untouched ecological wonders of Türkiye’s rugged eastern frontier.
