Typhoon Haikui unleashed record-breaking rainfall in Hong Kong, causing two deaths and injuring 110 people. The storm also flooded streets, subways, and tunnels, disrupting daily life and economic activities. Shenzhen, China, experienced its highest rainfall since 1952, leading to school closures and stranded individuals. Guangdong province faced continued heavy rains, leading to flight cancellations, and Typhoon Haikui caused injuries and power outages in Fujian province as well.
