Typhoon Khanun Strikes South Korea after Japan

After impacting Japan for two weeks, Typhoon Khanun hit South Korea, leading to the evacuation of 10,641 residents, cancellation of 355 flights, and the temporary closure of 1,579 schools. The typhoon is forecasted to reach Seoul and then move towards North Korea.

In Japan, the typhoon resulted in two deaths in Okinawa and 78 injuries overall.
