Typhoon Mawar prompts evacuations in Japan

Typhoon Mawar caused widespread disruptions in Japan. Over 263 flights were canceled, and thousands were evacuated due to heavy rains and strong winds. Ten people were injured in Okinawa. The Japan Meteorological Agency warned of continued adverse weather, urging caution against landslides and floods caused by heavy rainfall.
