Typhoon Mindulle reached Japanese Islands of Izu and Ogasawara, causing strong winds and waves. The Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) warned that the typhoon may cause floodings and landslides until tomorrow morning. Some train services were suspended, and 120 flights were cancelled in Chiba and Ibaraki prefectures. Local authorities urged residents living in risky areas to be prepared for possible evacuation warnings.
