The death toll from Typhoon Yagi, which made landfall in Vietnam on Saturday has risen to 21, also damaging approximately 3,300 homes and more than 120,000 hectares of farmland and causing 30 ships to sink.
The typhoon is described as one of the strongest typhoons to hit the region in the last 10 years.
