Ukraine army targeted a fuel storage in Russia’s Belgorod city

The war between Russia and Ukraine has entered its 37th day. Russia’s Belgorod Oblast Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that 2 military helicopters of the Ukrainian Air Forces have attacked a fuel storage in Russia’s Belgorod city. Gladkov said that 2 storage workers were injured in the fire that broke out after the attack, but the workers were not in a life-threatening condition.

“The fuel storage was attacked by 2 helicopters of the Ukrainian army, which entered the Russian airspace by low altitude flight. No casualties were reported in the attack. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia (EMERCOM) is working to extinguish the fire as soon as possible. There is no threat to the citizens” Gladkov said.

Meanwhile, the owner of the fuel storage, the Rosneft company has made a statement about the workers situation after the attack. “Workers in the area were evacuated. Vice Chairman of the Rosneft is at the scene. We are in contact with the EMERCOM and law enforcement” the Rosneft has said in the statement.
